Funciona, cumple est\u00e1ndares y protege la informaci\u00f3n cr\u00edtica de vuestra organizaci\u00f3n. Pero dentro de unos a\u00f1os, ese mismo cifrado ser\u00e1 trivialmente rompible. Y lo m\u00e1s inquietante es que el ataque no empezar\u00e1 entonces: empez\u00f3 hace tiempo.<\/p>\n<p>Esto es <a href=\"https:\/\/byt4.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Harvest Now, Decrypt Later<\/a>, y cambia por completo la forma en la que debemos entender la seguridad de los datos.<\/p>\n<p>El modelo es tan simple como efectivo. Los adversarios capturan hoy vuestro tr\u00e1fico cifrado \u2014algo barato y t\u00e9cnicamente sencillo\u2014 y lo almacenan en grandes repositorios. No necesitan romperlo ahora. Solo esperar. En un horizonte de cinco a diez a\u00f1os, cuando la computaci\u00f3n cu\u00e1ntica sea viable, ese hist\u00f3rico de datos podr\u00e1 descifrarse de forma masiva.<\/p>\n<p>El problema no es te\u00f3rico. Afecta directamente a informaci\u00f3n cuyo valor no caduca en el corto plazo: investigaci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica, secretos industriales, <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Propiedad_intelectual\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">propiedad intelectual<\/a>, datos biom\u00e9tricos, informaci\u00f3n gubernamental o planes estrat\u00e9gicos dise\u00f1ados a diez a\u00f1os vista. Todo aquello que siga teniendo valor ma\u00f1ana es objetivo hoy.<\/p>\n<p>La verdad inc\u00f3moda es esta: los datos ya capturados no pueden protegerse de forma retroactiva. Solo pod\u00e9is <a href=\"https:\/\/byt4.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">proteger los datos<\/a> que todav\u00eda no han sido interceptados.
